Hyderabad: A special court for ACB cases here has framed charges against the MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in connection with the cash-for-vote scam busted in 2015.

However, the MLA refuted the charges framed under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act along with the Section 120B (Criminal Conspiracy) of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The court issued a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against another person Udaysimha, who was allegedly involved in the case, for failing to appear before the court.
