The joyous 10-day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi has begun. Although the celebrations have not been as bigger as ever over the past couple of years owing to Covid-19, the different Ganesh idols in different colonies are a treat to eyes.
Adding to the spark of Lord Ganesha is renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik, who, in his usual style, has made a Ganesha idol with 7,000 sea shells on the famous Puri beach.
Sharing the picture of the same, Sudarsan took his Twitter page along with a message he would like to deliver through his seashell Ganesh.
“#HappyGaneshChaturthi May Lord Ganesh bless all. First time I have used 7000 Seashells on my sculpture with the message “World Peace” at Puri beach in Odisha. I hope this is the world’s first Seashells with sand installation art of Lord Ganesh,” he wrote on Twitter.
Soon after the renowned sand artist posted on Twitter, netizens were quick to react. A user wrote: “Incredible art !!!” while another wrote, “Amazing artwork. Ganpati Bappa Morya”.
Many also wished a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to everyone on Twitter in the comments section.
