Mancherial: Activists and members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and farmers hailed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his giving nod to construct Chennur Lift Irrigation Scheme. Celebrations erupted across Chennur Assembly segment following the government’s decision to invite tenders for construction of Chennur Lift Irrigation Scheme
The TRS workers and farmers took out rallies, burst crackers and distributed sweets among themselves in Kotapalli, Jaipur, Bheemaram mandal centres and Chennur, Kyathanpalli and Mandamarri municipalities to celebrate the decision. They termed that the scheme was a memorable gift by Rao to the people of Chennur Assembly constituency. They said that he fulfilled a long-cherished dream of the public.
Thet said that Chandrasekhar Rao had been a farmer-friendly administrator. They cited Rytu Bandhu, Rytu Bheema, waiving of crop loans, provision of fertilizers and uninterrupted supply of power to agriculture needs. They vowed to back the Chief Minister forever. They expressed gratitude to Government Whip and Chennur MLA Balka Suman for playing a vital role in the government sanctioning the lift irrigation scheme.
