Cherla in Kothagudem records 41.8 degrees Celsius temperature

Kothagudem: Day time temperatures in the district have crossed 40 degrees Celsius at a few places at the very beginning of summer season.
Singareni areas as well as other places in the district witnessed high mercury levels on Thursday.
A maximum day-time temperature of 41.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Satyanarayanapuram in Cherla mandal.
Similarly the residents at temple town Bhadrachalam had to bear scorching hot weather as the town recorded 40 degrees Celsius temperature.
A temperature of 39 degree Celsius was recorded at Kothagudem, Yellandu and Manugur on the day.
