Hyderabad: The State government has extended the deadline for ‘Cheyutha’ pension applications by one more day, with eligible persons now allowed to file their applications until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
As many as 5.78 lakh applications have been received so far. The deadline was extended following instructions from Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister D. Seethakka.
The government had earlier extended the deadline considering the three consecutive holidays. The last date for filing applications was Tuesday.
SERP CEO Divya Devarajan issued orders to district officials extending the deadline until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
