Hyderabad: Chidvilash Sai defeated A Divnesh in the first round of the UCCF 7th Telangana State Sub-junior Boys and Girls Chess Championship 2022 at the L B Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday.

The top four performers in boys and girls in this event will represent Telangana State in the upcoming National Sub-junior Chess Championships. As many as 131 boys and 57 girls are vying for the top honours in the tournament.
