Chief Election Commissioner visits Golconda Fort and Hussain Sagar
Chief Election Commissioner of India Gyanesh Kumar visited key historical and cultural landmarks in Hyderabad on Saturday. He toured Golconda Fort and Hussain Sagar, where officials briefed him on heritage and architectural aspects of the sites.

Hyderabad: The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, visited major historical and cultural sites in Hyderabad with his family on Saturday.
Arriving in Hyderabad from Srisailam on Saturday, the CEC first toured the Golconda Fort, where he received a warm welcome. Officials from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) briefed him on the historical and architectural significance of the fort.
Later, the CEC visited Hussain Sagar and viewed the prominent Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake. He was accompanied by the state’s chief electoral officer C Sudarshan Reddy, additional chief electoral officer Lokesh Kumar, deputy chief electoral officer Satyavani and other officials from the election department.
