Hyderabad: Chief Justice Alok Aradhe bid farewell to the Telangana High Court on Monday.Justice Aradhe’s appointment to the Bombay High Court was recently notified by the Central government.
Addressing the Court No. 1 gathering consisting of all the judges of the High Court, State government and Central government advocates, officer bearers of the Telangana High Court Advocates Association, among others, Justice Aradhe thanked all the brother and sister judges, advocates and all stakeholders, for their unwavering support in performing his duties.
He expressed a sense of pride in heading the youngest High Court in the country with a maximum number of women judges.
Justice Sujoy Paul, who was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice and Advocate General A Sudharshan Reddy, addressing the gathering, lauded Justice Aradhe for his services.
They reminded the initiatives taken up during Justice Aradhe’s tenure, including the introduction of a Hybrid court and laying the foundation stone at the Rajendranagar for the new High Court building.
He was also appreciated for the faster disposal rate of cases, at about 103 per cent in proportion to the cases filed. Justice Aradhe also participated in the farewell meeting at the Advocates Association.
