Chief Minister meets former Minister K Jana Reddy
This comes after the Peace Talks Committee held a meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence here on Sunday. The Committee had urged the Chief Minister to take the initiative of holding peace talks between the Union government and Maoists.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited former Minister K Jana Reddy’s residence here on Monday to discuss Operation Kagar and naxals issues and the measures to be initiated over the issues.
This comes after the Peace Talks Committee held a meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence here on Sunday. The Committee had urged the Chief Minister to take the initiative of holding peace talks between the Union government and Maoists.
The Committee members, including Convenor Justice Chandrakumar, professor Haragopal, professor Anwar Khan, Durga Prasad and others had wanted the Chief Minister to convince the Union government for a ceasefire. During the meeting, the Chief Minister had informed the Committee members that he would meet the former Minister, who held talks with Maoists in the past.
Accordingly, the Chief Minister went to the former Minister’s residence and discussed different aspects pertaining to ceasefire, peace talks and sought his suggestions.
