Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday launched the ‘Stand With Her’ campaign initiated by the Telangana police.
The key elements of the campaign are to encourage young men to speak up, intervene safely and report harassment of women.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the ‘Stand With Her’ movement reflects Telangana’s commitment to prevention-led policing and societal reformation, recognising that lasting safety is built when communities actively interrupt the attitudes and behaviours that produce violence. “When young men choose to speak up, step in and stand beside women, they don’t just stop one incident- they change what is considered acceptable in society,” said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The campaign will be implemented in partnership with the education department, the department of women and child development, Telangana police, and universities across the State.
