Chief Secretary goes on surprise inspection of health centres in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Thursday made a surprise inspection to the Covid Counseling centre in the Bogulkunta Urban Primary Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC). The inspection was to review the ongoing fever survey in the city.

He monitored the medicines, advice and the overall treatment being given to the people with fever symptoms.CS-Somesh-Kumar


“People with fever symptoms should get themselves tested in the nearest hospital and use the free medicines provided to them,” Somesh Kumar said.

To contain the spread of Covid-19, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is doing a door-to-door survey and making a list of people having fever and other Covid symptoms.

The Chief Secretary was accompanied by Secretary for Health SAM Rizvi, GHMC commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar and other officials.
