Chief Secretary urges people to utilise vaccination drive in Hyderabad

Officials informed the Chief Secretary that the door-to-door survey has been completed and people who were yet to receive their first dose of vaccine have been identified.

Hyderabad: The Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Wednesday visited the vaccination centre at Pariwar Township, in Chandrayanagutta and appealed to people to utilise the vaccination drive launched by the government and get themselves vaccinated. He also requested the public representatives to motivate people.

Meanwhile, officials informed the Chief Secretary that the door-to-door survey has been completed and people who were yet to receive their first dose of vaccine have been identified.

Somesh Kumar was accompanied by Health Secretary SAM Rizvi, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, Hyderabad District Collector, L Sharman and other officials. The GHMC along with the health department have taken up a special mop up drive to ensure that all the eligible people in the city are administered with the first dose of vaccine..
