Children fall ill after eating rotten eggs at Siddipet anganwadi centre

Two children in Rajakkapet village, Siddipet district, fell ill after consuming rotten eggs served at an anganwadi centre. Parents, upon discovering the spoiled food, lodged a complaint with officials.

Siddipet: Two children were taken ill after eating rotten eggs served at an anganwadi centre in Rajakkapet village on Tuesday. The anganwadi assistant at the centre, served boiled eggs to the children, who suffered vomiting immediately after consuming them.

The parents rushed to the centre after coming to know about the incident. They found rotten eggs at the centre. They immediately called officials to lodge a complaint.


Meanwhile, the parents alleged that the Anganwadi assistant had also used rotten tomatoes and other vegetables while preparing food on Tuesday. The inquiry is underway.
