Hyderabad: Nineteen children, who were rescued by the Rachakonda Police from a bangle manufacturing unit a few months ago, were sent to their native place in Bihar here on Wednesday.
It was in October last that the Balapur police along with Child Welfare department officials raided the bangle unit at Errakunta village and rescued the children, who were found to have been brought here from Bihar. The employers Mohd Toufiq, Mohd Sarfarz, Mohd Mujahid, Mohd Imtiaz and Mano Devi were subsequently booked and arrested.

The children, who were shifted to the Government Home for Boys at Saidabad for protection, were sent by train from Secunderabad to Dhanapur in Bihar, where they will be handed over to their parents.
