Yadadri-Bhongir: About 50 children, under the banner of Balala Sangam, took out a rally with a flexi banner portraying BJP leader Chinthapandu Naveen a.k.a Teenmar Mallanna and garlanded it with slippers in Raghavapuram village of Alair mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Sunday.

They took out the rally protesting against the Mallana’s online survey body-shaming K Himanshu, son of IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao. The children raised slogans against Mallanna and burnt his poster at the main centre of the village.

Kariki Ruthwik, who participated in the rally, said Mallanna’s act had hurt the sentiments of children. “Children should not be dragged into politics by leaders for the sake of sensation,” he added.
