Children’s Science Park inaugurated in Narayanpet
The Children’s Park and Science Park developed with a cost of Rs 2.25 crore

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday inaugurated Children’s Park and Science Park developed with a cost of Rs 2.25 crore, besides laying foundation for different works, including integrated vegetable and meat market being taken up with a cost of Rs 6 crore.
He also laid foundation for Martyrs Memorial Park being built with a cost of Rs 20 lakh and laid foundation for beautification works at Ambedkar chowk with a cost of Rs 4 crore.

During his whirlwind tour of the district as part of the Pattana Pragathi programme, the Minister inaugurated a 10-bed Pediatric ICU at Area Hospital in the district.
On the appeal made by local MLA Rajender Reddy for a food processing special economic zone in the district, the Minister responded positively and directed District Collector Harichandana to submit plans immediately and also wanted allocation of over 250 acres for setting up the zone.
Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud and other elected public representatives participated in the programmes.
