Chilkalguda BTech student murder pre-planned: Hyderabad police
Hyderabad Police arrested nine suspects and a minor in the murder of BTech student Yuvan in Chilkalguda. Investigators said the killing was pre-planned and allegedly orchestrated by the family members of the victim’s girlfriend following opposition to their relationship.

Hyderabad: The murder of twenty-three-year-old Yavan alias Yuvan, a third-year BTech student, was a pre-planned killing allegedly carried out by the family members of his girlfriend.
Secunderabad DCP Rakshitha Krishnamurthy, on Monday, announcing the arrest of nine suspects, along with a minor in connection with the case, said the murder of Yuvan in Chilkalguda was a pre-planned killing and the prime suspect, identified as A Sai Kiran, the girl’s brother-in-law and a rowdy-sheeter of Chilkalguda police station, had masterminded the murder as he wanted to marry the girl.
Other arrested suspects include Rajam Narsimha Yadav, the girl’s father, R Paramesh Kumar Yadav, Vamsi Krishna, Manish, S Rahul, K Shiva Nandan Yadav, R Srisailam Yadav and R Mallesh Yadav alias Mallanna, besides one minor.
Police said Rahul and Shiva Nandan Yadav had tested positive for marijuana consumption.
According to the police, investigators formed five special teams and found that the suspects had allegedly conspired to kill him nearly five days before the incident. The suspects reportedly conducted a recce before executing the attack. “The two had known each other since their school days and had been in a relationship for the past two years. The girl’s family had allegedly warned the victim earlier against continuing the relationship,” Rakshitha said.
Six suspects allegedly arrived on three motorcycles and attacked Yuvan while he was watching television. Though he tried to flee, the assailants chased and stabbed him repeatedly before escaping. He was declared as brought dead at the hospital.
The suspects were remanded in judicial custody.
