Chinese manja leads to electric shock, leaves two seriously injured in Zaheerabad
Two migrant workers suffered serious burn injuries after receiving an electric shock while flying kites using banned Chinese manja in Zaheerabad on Thursday. The manja touched overhead power lines, leaving one of the victims in critical condition.
Sangareddy: Two migrant workers sustained serious burn injuries after suffering electric shock when Chinese manja came into contact with overhead electric lines at Babu Mohan Colony in Zaheerabad town on Thursday.
The migrant workers, Niraj and Manoj, were flying kites from the terrace of their rented house on Sankranti day using the banned Chinese manja. The incident occurred when the manja touched live electric lines, resulting in a severe electric shock.
Both sustained serious burn injuries and were rushed to Hyderabad after being provided first aid at a local hospital. The condition of one of them is stated to be critical.
