Chintha Prabhakar slams Congress for releasing fishlings in only 10 lakes in Sangareddy
The BRS MLA said that the Congress government released fish into just 10 lakes in the Sangareddy constituency during the year which is less than half compared to what BRS released during its rule.
Sangareddy: Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar said the Congress government was not even releasing 50 percent of the fishlings compared to what the BRS government released during its rule.
Speaking after releasing fishlings into Uba Cheruvu in Sadasivapet town on Saturday, the BRS MLA said that the Congress government released fish into just 10 lakes in the Sangareddy constituency during the year which is less than half compared to what BRS released during its rule. Prabhakar said that the BRS had ushered in a blue revolution in the State by releasing fishlings into all water bodies, which greatly changed fishermen’s lives. He urged the government to take necessary steps to release fishlings into lakes in time. Later, he distributed CMRF cheques worth Rs 17.68 lakhs worth cheques to 53 beneficiaries in his constituency during a programme at the MLA camp office. BRS leaders Kasala Buchi Reddy, Vijayendar Reddy, Shivaraj Patil and others were present.
