Chiranjeevi describes Dasari Narayana Rao a guiding light

Recalling the legendary filmmaker on his birth anniversary, Chiranjeevi wrote on his Twitter handle on Monday, “Not just reaching new heights of success with his deft storytelling and filmmaking, Dasari Narayana Rao also strove incessantly for the people and resolved problems in the film industry. He is certainly a guiding light. It is unfortunate that he couldn’t get the right recognition from the government. Telugu cinema industry would take pride even if he is conferred Padma award posthumously.”

Meanwhile, several celebrities and producers in the film industry paid floral tributes to the statue of Dasari Narayana Rao here at Film Chambers here in the city. Movie Artistes’ Association president VK Naresh, prominent film producer C Kalyan, Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, choreographer Sathya Master were among others who attended the event. Later, following Covid protocol, food distribution was carried out at the venue.
