Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi had some words of inspiration for young entrepreneurs.
“My journey from ‘nowhere to somewhere’ came from the qualities I developed over time. I believe sharing my success story would inspire others,” he said while speaking at the American Progressive Telugu Association’s (APTA) Global Business Conference, Katalyst, in Hyderabad on January 5.
Sharing lessons from his life and career, the actor said passion, discipline and hard work helped him succeed. “If we stay focused on our goals, work hard and persevere, success will inevitably follow.”
The megastar also revealed how he loved sports but had to give them up due to injuries. He then joined the NCC, which taught him discipline. He remembered being part of the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi, which became a turning point in his life. Later, his love for acting led him into films.
He also spoke about the challenges early in his career, including rejection and negativity. “People who mistreated me eventually returned to me with opportunities.”
Chiranjeevi advised entrepreneurs to focus on building trust and credibility instead of quick financial gains. “Your network is your biggest strength,” he said, adding that his fans supported him not only in films but also in social causes like blood donation.
Lauding the APTA for organising the event, he appreciated the efforts of the Telugu community in supporting entrepreneurship. “It is wonderful to see such an event to support budding entrepreneurs and help them expand their network,” he said.
In closing, Chiranjeevi encouraged the audience to work hard toward their goals. “It would make me very happy to see all of you achieve great things after hearing my story. That would be my biggest reward,” he said.
