Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi along with Venkatesh Daggubati, senior comedian Ali, Srikanth Meka on Saturday paid last respects to the mortal remains of Puneeth Rajkumar. The two stars from Telugu film industry arrived at Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru to pay tributes amids high security.

Speaking to media persons, the Megastar described the sudden demise of Puneeth as shocking. He said the Kannada star’s death caused a deep void in Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, the funeral of the famed actor has been postponed to Sunday. It was supposed to be performed on Saturday evening, but the Karnataka State government announced that the last rites of the film star will be performed on Sunday.
