Hyderabad: There will be no room for controversies if a pleasant atmosphere prevails between actors, said actor Chiranjeevi.
Slipping the tongue for temporary positions and getting blamed by the opposition sections would only make oneself lose respect before outsiders, he said on the sidelines of the pre-release event of upcoming romantic comedy ‘Pelli SandaD’here in the city. Chiru’s remarks came soon after the MAA elections results were announced on Sunday evening.
Starring senior actor Meka Srikanth’s son Roshan and Sree Leela, ‘Pelli SandaD’ is being directed by newbie Gowri Ronanki under the supervision of veteran director K Raghavendra Rao.
The movie is produced by Madhavi Kovelamoodi, Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni and is set to release in theatres this Friday. Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh Daggubati were the chief guests at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjeevi recalled the success of Raghavendra Rao’s iconic blockbuster of the same name starring Srikanth, Ravali and Deepti Bhatnagar.
“I was the chief guest of the 175-day celebrations of ‘Pelli Sandadi’ that was held in Vijayawada, 25 years ago. And now, it is a pleasure to be invited as the chief guest to this ‘Pelli SandaD’ after two and half decades. Actor Venkatesh is my long time friend,” said the Megastar adding they both appreciate each other’s success. “This camaraderie should prevail between actors in the industry. There is no need to belittle each other for want of power or authority,” he added.
