Chirec boys and Nasr girls crowned champions in Under-14 basketball league

Hyderabad: Chirec International School (ISRP) were crowned champions in the boys section after registering a 61-53 win over Oakridge International School in the final round-robin match of the Keystone Schools League Under-14 basketball championship.
Nasr Girls School won the girls title, remaining unbeaten in all their matches.
In a closely fought boys’ match, Shreyan Ambhati excelled for Chirec while Oakridge’s Sidhanth was outstanding, scoring from every opportunity to finish with an individual tally of 29 points.
In the last league match of the girls section, Indus International School Hyderabad defeated Oakridge International School 31-13 to secure second place, while Suchitra Academy edged out Oakridge and hosts Keystone School in a three-way tie for the second runner-up position.
Keystone School had a consolation as their boys team secured the second runner-up spot with a three-win, two-loss record.
Mrs Srilakshmi Reddy, Founder Director, Keystone School, distributed the prizes.
