Cine industry’s meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy raises curiosity

The meeting is scheduled to commence in a few minutes. Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju is leading the delegation from film industry and 36.persons are expected to attend the meeting.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s meeting with film industries personalities, including actors, producers, directors and others, at Command Control Centre, is raising lot of curiosity among different sections.

The meeting is scheduled to commence in a few minutes. Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju is leading the delegation from film industry and 36.persons are expected to attend the meeting.


This meeting is being conducted after the Sandhya theatre stampede and the controversy surrounding film actor Allu Arjun’s arrest. This apart, the meeting is being held to discuss issues pertaining to film industry and the measures to be taken for its development.

Among the film producers, Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind, D Suresh Babu Asain Films Sunil Narang and others likely to attend. Similarly, actors, Venkatesh, Varun Tej and others would be participating.

Telugu Film Chamber Bharat Bhushan and Secretary Damodar Prasad, and representatives from Movie Artists Association are also attending the meeting.

Chiranjeevi‘s absence for the meeting is also triggering a few debates among the film personalities.

It is learnt that invitation was also extended to film actor Nagarjuna for the meeting however it is still unclear whether the actor would attend the meeting. It may be recalled that HYDRAA had demolished a portion of the actor’s convention centre early this year.

Forest Minister Konda Surekha had also made some comments about the actor’s son Nagachaitanya and Samantha‘s divorce. Taking objection, Nagarjuna had filed defamation suit in the court.
