Sangareddy: An inmate of a residential school at Nallavagu in Sirgapur mandal passed away due to ill health on Friday night. Parents of the student staged a protest holding the management responsible for his death on Saturday.

Deceased Dara Nikhil Kumar’s parents Sudhakar and Pulamma, residents of Chillepally in Pedda Shankarampet, alleged that the management failed to inform them even though the boy had fallen ill a few days ago. When his condition turned critical, they reached the hostel and shifted him to an area hospital in Narayankhed. Later, he was taken to Hyderabad following the doctor’s advice. However, Kumar died while undergoing treatment.

The parents attempted to take the body to the residential school on Saturday to stage a protest and expose the negligence of the staff. However, the police stopped them and shifted the body to their native place. The kin and parents of the students staged a protest.
