Peddapalli: A 17 year-old boy, Mutharaveni Praveen committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his home in Begampet of Ramagiri mandal on Friday.
Praveen, who was studying Class IX in the local government high school, was found hanging when other family members woke up in the morning.
Mallamma, the deceased’s mother, was taking care of the boy as her husband Rayamallu died when Praveen was two years old. Though the exact reason is not yet known, Praveen used to worry about the death of his father, according to family members.
Body was shifted to Peddapalli hospital for postmortem.
