Nalgonda: A Class VI student was severely injured when she jumped from the BC Residential School building on Devarakonda road in Nalgonda on Sunday.
According to the police, the injured student was a resident of Kothagudem village. Police said the incident occurred after her parents dropped her at the school. she returned to the school after spending a week at her native place. She was believed to be reluctant to study in the residential school and had informed the same to her parents, the police said. Her parents convinced her and left her at the school. Within a couple of minutes, she reached the top of the building and jumped from there. Her condition is said to be serious. A case was booked and the investigation is on.
