Classic Legends expands footprint in Hyderabad
Opens sixth Jawa showroom with Gautam Motorcycles establishing new dealer outlet at Malakpet
Hyderabad: As a part of nationwide expansion taken up by Mahindra & Mahindra subsidiary Classic Legends for its range of Jawa motorcycles, the company has opened its sixth showroom in Hyderabad, with its dealer Gautam Motorcycles setting up an outlet at Malakpet.
Since the launch of the brand in November 2018, Classic Legends has established 100 dealerships in the first phase in a record time of 100 days. There are three motorcycle models for the customers to choose from—Jawa, Jawa 42 and Jawa Perak.
Gautam Motorcycles has been in the automobile industry for over 30 years under the brand ‘Ingens’ by Auto Arena Cars and Gautam Finance, dealing in luxury pre-owned cars and private automobile finance, respectively. The company has now entered into a venture by taking up the dealership of Jawa motorcycles, with several new products lined up in the future, the company said in a release.
Jawa is a motorcycle brand from Czech Republic, with a 90-year legacy, which in its heydays exported classic, well-engineered and rugged motorcycles to over 120 countries. It entered the Indian market in the early 1960s.
Classic Legends has leveraged its partner capabilities in design and engineering along with the global expertise, to launch products that capture the DNA and ethos of the original Jawa. With the launch of new Jawa and Jawa 42, the company redefined the classic motorcycle segment in the country offering modern retro motorcycles with classic styling and packed with modern technology. The brand then went on to launch India’s first factory custom bobber, the Jawa Perak.
