Rajanna-Sircilla: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao instructed revenue officials on Friday to take steps to provide pending compensation amount to land oustees of Vemulawada constituency as early as possible.
Rama Rao, who held a review meeting with officials in Sircilla after inaugurating a 100-bed hospital in Vemulawada, instructed Civil Supplies Department officials to complete paddy procurement on fast track mode since the rainy season was fast approaching. “There should not be any delay in shifting paddy to rice mills,” he said.
Rama Rao promised HRCT scanning machine in the district headquarters hospital for the benefit of Covid patients. He wanted the district Medical and Health Department officials to arrange a special ward for dialysis patients who were infected by coronavirus. He also instructed officials to arrange 50-bed capacity Covid wards for children in Sircilla and Vemulawada. Rama Rao wanted the authorities to take steps to arrange medicines to fight black and white fungus.
The Minister directed the officials to provide salaries to temporary medical staff engaged in treatment of Covid patients from SCR funds.
