Senior actor Rajendra Prasad is an unconventional actor. From playing titular roles to switching to character artiste, he has made his own mark on the silver screen. Now, the actor, fondly called Nata Kireeti by his fans, will be seen as a flamboyant billionaire Vijay Modi in the upcoming movie titled Climax.
Directed by K Bhavani Shanker, the movie’s trailer, which was released recently, is garnering a good response. A psychotic and a womaniser, Vijay Modi plays to his whims and fancies, lives a luxurious life with beautiful women standing at his service. He has three goals to accomplish — to become a popular face, make a movie, perhaps on himself, and lastly to become a successful politician. He still believes that beggars and millionaires in this world share sadness and joy equally.
Climax, which is hitting the screens this Saturday, is being produced by Karunakar Reddy and Rajeswar Reddy under the banner Kaipas Film Production.
Actor Sri Reddy will be seen in a key role. Sasha Singh and Pruthvi Raj are playing supporting roles. During the trailer launch event, Rajendra Prasad said he will be shown in a never-before-seen role. “As the title suggests, audiences will be taken aback by the climax of the movie. More than the business perspective and ticket sales, it is the story that drives the movie. And Bhavani Shankar has done a great job in perfectly picturising the sequences.”
Director Bhavani Shankar who had an experience of associating with Rajendra Prasad earlier in the movie Dream, said Climax is going to be a refreshing narrative. “The names Vijay and Modi have seemingly put a question — ‘do these have any connection with popular personalities’, but there is nothing of that sort. Every character has its own significance. Every frame is visually appealing and music is another added highlight,” said the director.
