Home Minister Mahmood Ali speaks after inaugurating 2BHK houses at at GYR Compound of Bansilalpet Division on Thursday
Hyderabad: The credit for fulfilling the aspiration of poor families to own a house of theirs goes to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, said Home Minister Mahmood Ali.
Participating in the inaugural of 180 units of 2BHK housing at GYR compound, Bansilalpet on Thursday, the Home Minister said the State government was ensuring spacious housing units to the poor without burdening the beneficiaries.
Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav in his address said the Chief Minister was working towards ensuring quality living conditions for the poor families and as part of that 2BHK units were being provided to them. Under the guidance of MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao, the housing units equipped with all required facilities were coming up in place of slum areas, he said.
Srinivas Yadav also announced that poor Muslim families in the neighbourhood of GYR compound would be provided with 2BHK housing in the next five months. Mayor G Vijaya Lakhsmi, Deputy Mayor, M Srilatha and others were present at the function.
