Nalgonda: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao visited Nalgonda on Wednesday and consoled Thungathurthy MLA Gadari Kishore and his family members over the demise of Gadari Maraiah, the MLA’s father who passed away on December 17.

The Chief Minister arrived by a helicopter at 1.15 pm and went directly Kadari’s house in PTR Colony on Devarakonda road here. Police made elaborate security arrangements along the route from NG College where a helipad was prepared to PTR colony and imposed traffic restrictions.

The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to Gadari Maraiah’s portrait and consoled the members of the bereaved family.

He was accompanied by Ministers T Harish Rao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, Rajya Sabha member Joginapalli Santhosh Kumar, State Planning Commission Vice Chairman B Vinod, and MLAs and MLCs from the district.
