Minister Indrakaran Reddy inaugurates Urban Rythu Vedika in Nirmal on Thursday.
Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving paramount importance to the agriculture sector as he recognized the role of farmers in the growth of the country.
In an interaction with farmers after formally inaugurated the Urban Rythu Vedika here on Thursday, Indrakaran Reddy said the government released crop input support to avoid inconvenience to farmers at the time of sowing for Vanakalam season. He stated that the monetary aid would directly be credited to the accounts of eligible farmers from June 15, and added that steps were being taken to ensure supply of quality seeds to the agrarian community.

The Minister praised the frontline workers such as sanitation workers, policemen and ASHA workers for discharging duties in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. He said they were risking their lives and rendering duties. He appreciated Allola Surender Reddy of IKR Foundation, a voluntary organization and TRS leader Mudigonda Ramu for feeding the workers every day.
Indrakaran Reddy later felicitated award winning Gussadi dance master Kanaka Raju on account of government sanctioning pension to the dance master. He assured to provide a double-bed room house and a government job to one of the family members by bringing the condition of Raju to the notice of the Chief Minister soon. He stated that all support would be extended to the master.
Rythu Bandhu Samiti district convener N Venkatram Reddy, Nirmal Agriculture Market Committe Chairman Narmada Muthyam Reddy municipal chairperson Gandrath Eshwar, Marlavai Sarpanch Pratibha Venkateshwar, Adivasi leaders Athram Bhujang Rao, Athram Shankar and TRS leaders Imtiyaz Khan and Jugnak Dev were present.
