Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao mourned the death of noted Telugu film comedian Potti Veeraiah. The Chief Minister recalled that Gattu Veeraiah aka Potti Veeraiah, who hailed from Phanigiri in Suryapet district, had acted in 500 films in several languages from Vithalacharya’s time to the present and won acclaim from cinegoers.
Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.
The Chief Minister also mourned the death of Prabhakar Rao, father of Legislative Council Government Whip T Bhanu Prasada Rao. He conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.
