Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao conveyed his wishes to all teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on September 5, marking the birth anniversary of former President of India late Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He said the services of teachers who carry a huge responsibility of shaping the future of the students and make them responsible citizens, are invaluable.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said the State government was taking all measures for the all-round progress of teachers in Telangana by providing them with better facilities. He said education was being given the highest priority in the State and unlike elsewhere in the country, the education system was being strengthened by establishing the highest number of Gurukuls in the country. He urged the teachers to become partners in the Maha Yagna and make Telangana a torchbearer in education system of the country.
As schools have been reopened after the Corona epidemic, he urged teachers to strictly follow the Covid protocol and protect their health as well as that of students, besides continuing educating them.
