CM KCR likely to visit Palakurthy on November 4
Minister Dayakar Rao held a review meeting over the construction of the Rythu Vedikas, 2BHK houses, cotton purchase, checking of Covid-19, construction of Devadual canals and other issues
Jangaon: Directing the officials to speed up the development works in the Palakurthy constituency, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao has said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was likely to tour Palakurthy on November 4.
The minister has held a review meeting over the construction of the Rythu Vedikas, 2BHK houses, drying platforms, roads and buildings, cotton purchase, checking of Covid-19, construction of Devadual canals, land acquisition for the government projects and other issues at his camp office in Palakurthy town in the district on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the officials must ensure completion of graveyards, nurseries, dumping yards and Palle Prakruthi Vanams at all the villages.
“The officials should take steps to procure the cotton from the first week of November besides making arrangements for the paddy procurement,” he added. He also asked the officials to see that the people would celebrate the Saddula Bathukamma and Dasara festivals following the Covid-19 norms to check the spread of the Covid pandemic .
District Collector K Nikhila and other district officials attended the meeting. Later, the minister inspected the proposed site for establishing the textile park at Kodakandla in the district along with the District Collector.
