CM KCR made sure Telangana stands top in development, welfare in country: Jagdish
He said Chandrashekhar Rao has turned the development dreams of the people of the State as well as to lead a dignified life into reality after the formation of the State.

Suryapet/Nalgonda: Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy on Wednesday said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao took up the mass plantation programme – Telangana Ku Haritha Haram – to negate environmental imbalance which is key for the survival of humankind. Launching the plantation drive in the catchment area of Musi River at Kasarabad in the district as a part of “Koti vrukshaarchana” taken up to mark the birthday of the Chief Minister, the Minister said environmental imbalance was a great threat to humans in present times.
He said Chandrashekhar Rao has turned the development dreams of the people of the State as well as to lead a dignified life into reality after the formation of the State. He has shown to the world what is the real development and welfare of the people. He pointed out that the Chief Minister has made sure Telangana stands top in development and welfare in the country. State government accorded equal importance to development and welfare, he added.
He said that the farmers were getting irrigation facility for two crops due to the measures taken up by the State government and appreciated the farmers for celebrating the birthday of the Chief Minister by planting saplings. In Nalgonda, TRS leaders including MLA Kancherla Bhupal Reddy and Zilla Parishad Chairman Banda Narender Reddy participated in the plantation programme held on the premises of TRS office on Hyderabad road in Nalgonda.
TRS MLAs from the district also participated in plantation programme held in their respective constituencies in erstwhile Nalgonda district. They also fed the poor and destitute at the headquarters of their Assembly constituencies.
Plantation drive at Buddha vanam
On the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday, Koti Vruksharchana programme was organised with 260 persons, who planted 2,000 saplings at Buddha Vanam project, Nagarjunasagar.
Incidentally, on May 4, 2015, the Chief Minister had planted a Bodhi sapling at Buddha Vanam project in Nagarjunasagar, the symbol of Buddhist heritage, on the occasion of 2559 Budha Jayanti celebrations. The Budha Vanam project would be open for the national and international tourists very soon.
As per the instructions of Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud, under Buddha Vanam Special Officer Mallepalli Laxmaiah leadership the Koti Vruksharchana programme was organised. As many 230 local BC Residential school students, Buddha Vanam project officers participated in the programme.
Blood donation programmes held
Sangareddy: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s birthday was organised in a grand way as thousands of people planted saplings as part of Koti Vruksharchana.
Home Minister Muhammad Mohammad Ali has planted a sapling on the premises of District Jail Sangareddy on Wednesday morning in the presence of Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Zaheerbad MP BB Patil and others.
In another programme at Pothireddypally, the MPs, Collector Sangareddy M Hanumantha Rao have planted saplings at Pothireddypally village. Elected representatives and officials have taken part in the plantation drive. The followers of the Chief Minister have distributed sweets and cakes. They have organised blood donation programmes and distributed fruits to patients at the hospitals and orphan homes.
