Medak: Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao wanted to develop rural parts of Telangana on par with urban areas. He inaugurated multiple structures including a function hall, vegetable market, bus station, Mahila Samakhya Bhavan and Rythu Vedika, all built with a budget of Rs 2.31 crore in Jagadevpur mandal headquarters on Monday.
Addressing the gathering, Prabhakar Reddy said the Telangana government is developing the rural areas on par with urban areas by spending crores of rupees. He interacted with vegetable vendors after inaugurating the market. Later, he also offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at a Vinayaka Pandal set up for local youth.
Zilla Parishad Chairperson V Roja Sharma, Forest Development Corporation Chairman Vanteru Prathap Reddy, District Cooperative Central Bank Chairman Chitti Devendar Reddy, Grandlaya Chairman Lakkireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Agriculture Market Chairperson Gajwel Annapurna Srinivas, and others were present.
