Hyderabad: Admitting that there were a few communal disturbance incidents in the State, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said all measures would be taken up to ensure there was no scope for any communal discrimination and to prevent further communal incidents.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving programme organised by the Calvary Temple here on Monday, the Chief Minister said the government would curb communal disturbances. People involved in such incidents would be punished severely, he said.

The State government takes up the responsibility of ensuring people follow their faith with freedom and protects their rights. Under the Congress rule, people can live with freedom and complete confidence in the society, he added.
