CM Revanth expresses anguish over RIMS Adilabad fire incident, orders investigation

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the deaths of two infants in a fire accident at the SNCU ward of RIMS Hospital, Adilabad, ordered an inquiry into the incident, and directed officials to strengthen safety measures across hospitals.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday expressed anguish over the fire accident that occurred in the SNCU (Special Newborn Care Unit) ward at RIMS Hospital, Adilabad. He ordered an inquiry into the causes of the incident and directed officials to submit a report.

He described the death of two infants in the incident as deeply distressing and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He directed officials to ensure the provision of superior medical care to the infants undergoing treatment and to continuously monitor their health conditions.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials that safety measures should be strengthened across all hospitals to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
