Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy greeted the people of Telangana on the occasion of Dasara, calling it a festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil and reflects the state’s cultural richness.
In a statement, Revanth Reddy said Dasara held a unique place in Telangana’s traditions, where rituals like Shami Puja, exchanging Jammi leaves as gold, Alai Balai gatherings, seeking elders’ blessings, and the sighting of the auspicious Palapitta bird mark the festivities.
He stressed that Telangana stands as a symbol of unity among diverse communities and prayed to Goddess Durga for the State’s progress and unopposed victories. The Chief Minister wished that the people of Telangana celebrate the festival with happiness, harmony, and renewed spirit.
