Hyderabad: Indian cricketer Tilak Varma paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Tuesday. The left-handed batsman played a crucial role in India’s victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final.
The Chief Minister felicitated Tilak Varma and applauded his innings in the win against Pakistan. The cricketer also presented a cricket bat to the Chief Minister. Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari and others were present on the occasion.
HCA to present Siraj, Tilak Rs 10 lakhs each
Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) will felicitate two of India’s most promising and accomplished cricketers — Mohammed Siraj and Tilak Varma — for their outstanding contributions on the international stage.
In recognition of their achievements and to encourage their continued excellence, the HCA will felicitate both players with an award amount of Rs. 10,00,000 each.
“This initiative reflects HCA’s commitment to honouring homegrown talent and inspiring the next generation of cricketers,” a senior official of HCA informed the media.
