The Andhra Pradesh government owed to pay Rs.408.49 crore as its share to Telangana. However, the Andhra Pradesh government did not clear the due so far, the Chief Minister informed to the union Minister and urged her to issue orders to the Andhra Pradesh government to clear the dues with interest.

He also reminded the union Finance Minister that the union government during 2014-15 had allocated the funds related to Centrally Sponsored Schemes to Andhra Pradesh. Of these, Rs.495.20 crore had to be transferred from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana on the basis of population in the Reorganization Act.

The Andhra Pradesh government did not respond positively despite repeated requests, the Chief Minister said. Later, Revanth Reddy met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and appealed to set up an integrated railway coach factory at Kazipet.

He also requested the Railway Minister to construct a new railway line between Vikarabad-Krishna station, besides sanctioning a new rail route between Kalwakurti and Macharla.

The Chief Minister also urged Ashwini Vaishnaw to reconsider the proposed rail routes of Dornakal-Miryalaguda (Papatapalli-John Pahad) and Dornakal-Gadwal. Stating that land prices in Palair assembly constituency were high and most lands belonged BC, SC, ST and minority community farmers, the Chief Minister requested the railway lines to be changed from Dornakal to Vennaram-Mannegudem-Abbayipalem-Maripeda to Mothe. This would also cut short the distance by 19 kms, he added.
