CMC carries out 17 demolitions against unauthorised constructions in Cyberabad

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation enforcement teams carried out 17 demolitions and served nine notices against unauthorised constructions across Serilingampally, Kukatpally and Quthbullapur zones on Thursday. Officials identified 15 more unauthorised constructions and initiated action as per prescribed procedures.

Hyderabad: Continuing drive against unauthorised constructions across in its three zones, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) enforcement teams carried out 17 demolitions and served nine notices on Thursd0ay.

In a press release, the CMC said five demolitions were conducted in Serilingampally Zone, four in Kukatpally Zone and eight in Quthbullapur Zone.

The teams identified 15 unauthorised constructions during inspections. The cases were being processed under the prescribed procedure, with action based on the nature of violations, it said.

CMC commissioner G Srijana directed officials to continue field-level monitoring, take necessary action in every identified case and maintain coordination among teams for timely and effective enforcement.
