Hyderabad: To identify civic issues and ensure timely resolution, the commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) G Srijana on Monday launched a programme called ‘One ward-Every Day’.
Marking the first day of the initiative, the Commissioner conducted a field inspection in Serilingampally Zone, Ameenpur Circle and Ramchandrapuram (R C Puram) ward, along with the Deputy Commissioner, Ameenpur, and reviewed key civic issues and ongoing works.
An official release stated that the initiative aimed to strengthen on-ground governance, with the Commissioner visiting one ward every day to assess civic infrastructure, identify issues and ensure timely resolution. The programme covered all 3 zones and 76 wards, focusing on street lighting, drainage (nalas), sanitation hotspots and overall service delivery.
During the visit, the Commissioner undertook detailed field verification, interacted with residents and representatives of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and reviewed the implementation of civic services at the ground level.
The Commissioner emphasised that real progress required active partnership with citizens, and encouraged ‘Residents Welfare Associations’ (RWAs) and residents to participate in ward visits, share feedback and raise local issues to enable faster and more effective resolution.
