Hyderabad: Medicover Hospitals conducted a virtual Continuing Medical Education (CME) training programme, which also featured a live surgery, for nearly 150 young orthopaedic doctors, drawn from across the state.
The Head of Orthopaedics, Dr. E Krishna Kiran said “The program was aimed at training and address all doubts of young orthopaedic doctors. The CME program featured discussions on what kind of implants to use and how to find quality implants that can last longer”.
Hip replacement surgeries should be taken-up carefully and failure to do so will result in their recurrence. Senior orthopaedic, Dr. Chandrasekhar Danana said that witnessing live surgeries was helpful to young orthopaedic surgeons, as they would be able to handle such complex surgeries on easily.
