CMR International School: Merry-making at Sankranti fete

Teachers spoke on the importance of the festival and its essence which children listened with all attention.

CMR International School at Surarm celebrated Makar Sankrathi on a grand note. The festival, also known as the harvest festival, was celebrated on a virtual platform. Kids from pre primary sections turned up in colourful dresses for the online event.

Later at the cultural fest organised on the occasion, children displayed their dancing and singing skills and performed traditional songs to mark the festival.

The tiny tots also made colourful kites at their homes and displayed them at the event. Teachers shared safety tips with students while flying kites at their homes.
