CMRF a boon to poor patients: DCCB chief

Khammam: Fulfilling the aspirations of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, MP Nama Nageswara Rao has been taking the government schemes to the doorsteps of people, said DCC Bank Chairman K Nagabhushanam.

He along with TRS leader Maddineni Baby Swarna Kumari and others distributed CMRF cheques to beneficiaries at the MP’s camp office here on Friday. Around 38 beneficiaries from Khammam Rural, Kusumanchi and Tirumalayapalem mandals were given away the cheques.

Nagabhushanam said the financial relief under CMRF has been a boon to many who got treated for their ailments and the Chief Minister was making special efforts for the timely release of the cheques.

The MP despite his busy schedule has been following up on the CMRF applications status to help the people. Care was being taken to ensure that there was no role of middlemen in providing relief under the CMRF, said the district Rythu Bandhu Samithi convener, N Venkateshwar Rao.

The beneficiaries thanked the Chief Minister and MP Nageswara Rao for the CMRF cheques. TRS leaders Kanakamedala Satyanarayana, Khammam Rural ZPTC member Y Varaprasad and others were present.
