Nalgonda: Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda) Registrar Prof. M Yadagiri on Thursday instructed principals of colleges to get ready the colleges for reopening from February 1 by completing sanitisation of their premises.
At a meeting with the principals of the degree and PG colleges in his chamber on the premise of the university campus, he said that as per the instructions of Higher Education Council, classes would be conducted to the final year students of degree and Post-Graduation courses from February 1.
Sanitization of colleges and hostels should be completed before the opening of the colleges.
Syllabus and practical examinations should be completed by February 28 as the annual examinations would be conducted in the first week of March, he added.
He said that negative report of Covid-19 test of the students and declaration of their parents should be taken by the management of colleges before allowing them to attend the classes. The students should attend the classes wearing masks and maintaining physical distancing.
